  • Since 2009 the Institute for Applied Psychology of the German University in Armenia has organized a wide range of seminars, workshops, trainings and consultation both in Yerevan and in regions of Armenia. The subjects of the courses vary from each other starting from Autisms Spectrum Disorder to Active listening and Communication skills.

    During the 2009 and the first half of 2010 over 300 psychologists and psychotherapists, as well as parents and nurses in Armenia and Karabagh took part in the trainings and workshops of the Institute for Applied Psychology. These people are dealing with children with challenging behavior in their everyday work and communicating people. 

    As a result of successfully implemented events we are now training not only personally interested people, but staffs of specialized organizations, among them ArBeS Health Care Center (Yerevan), Arabkir Reabilitation Center, "Prkutyun" NGO, "Araks" NGO (Gyumri) and others.

    All the trainings were conducted by the Docent of the Institute for Applied Psychology of the German University in Armenia Sibylle Bajorat, the clinical director of "Pyramid" Educational Consultants in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

    According to the feedbacks left by participants at the end of the trainings are very much required in this field and it was effective for in their work.
